Starting in 2008, the WSFM will be sponsoring a bike ride to raise awareness of the Wisconsin State Firefighters Memorial Park. This ride will provide biking enthusiasts from around the state with the opportunity to come together and show their support for the members of the Fire Service in Wisconsin. Each rider will be asked to solicit sponsors that will pledge financial support for the riders with the proceeds from the event going to the Memorial Park. It is anticipated that the ride will commence from three or four points around the State of Wisconsin with all riders converging on Wisconsin Rapids for a ride completion ceremony at the Memorial Park.
